I was visiting the area so i was only able to join for the week...great place and if i ever move to Vero i know where i will be joining. Jim Reid is a personal trainer there and not only made me feel very welcome but gave me some tips that i brought back home to NY. He is very knowledgeable and taught me new ways of lifting and using equipment that i have never done before. If you are in the area this should be your gym and a weekly session with Jim would be money well spent. His prices are incredibly reasonable and you will receive great value!

The owner Jay along with personal trainer Jim, are fantastic.
I checked out a lot of gyms before joining this one and I never looked back. Atmosphere is friendly, warm and knowledgeable. I truly enjoy the fact that they are always ready to assist you in anyway they can. Jim has taught me so much in the short amount of time since joining 2 months ago. The machines are in great working order. In fact, he just installed new ellipticals, stairclimmer and treadmills.
This gym prides itself on cleanliness - bathrooms/showers sparkle. I'm so happy to have found this gem of a gym. Do yourself a favor and check it out

Excellent gym, equipment, owner and trainer. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. I have worked out in all of the Vero Beach gyms over the 12 years and Lifestyle Fitness is the best of them all. I have been a member for 3 years.

I left another gym to come here and I'm glad I did. Lifestyle Fitness is great for both men and women. As a 62 year old woman, that makes a big difference to me. There is plenty of equipment in good working order and the owner Jay keeps the place clean. I go late in the morning and it's not very crowded so I hardly ever have to wait to use any of the equipment. I also hired a Jim as a personal trainer to get me started with a routine and that was the 2nd best move I made.

The best gym in an area where it is tough to find a decent place to workout. As two military members looking to workout for a few days while vacationing, my husband and I were taken care of by the owner, Jay. Extremely professional and friendly staff, great equipment, and very clean. Never too crowded and always the right environment. You will enjoy this gym! Support local gym owners who actually care about their members.

If you need any assistance or help of any kind, he will immediately drop what he is doing to tend to any concerns or questions you may have.

I've been following his tips he has given me to improve my workouts and my physique, workout routine, and motivation has never been so high in my life! I would definitely recommend this gym for a place to feel at home and be in a judge-free environment. For the low monthly prices and the nearby location, it is a no-brainer to sign up and start the journey of a better, healthier lifestyle!

This is a well equipped, clean friendly locally owned gym.
No it is not the BIG BOX type gym with row after row of treadmills or a room full of ginormous guys clanking and dropping weights from 3-4 feet but I guarantee that the owner Jay who's there from 10am-7 (I think) will greet you by name and that you can get a good workout in. If you are looking for a gym in Vero Beach that's open "24/7" to members Lifestyle Fitness is worth a visit.

I've lived in Vero for almost 40 years and have joined many gyms in my time. Lifestyle Fitness is the best gym in town. The prices are very reasonable. The gym is super clean and the equipment is awesome. But the best reason of all for joining this gym is the owner, Jay Dawid. He is very helpful and watches out for you that you're using the machines right. He knows everyone by name, and is such a warm and friendly man. He is very encouraging and helpful to his clients. I joined 3 years ago and have always felt welcome. The owner Jay is always good to talk to, as are most people who go there. Always a nice pleasant atmosphere to work out in! As for the equipment the gym has all you need and more to get yourself into great shape.

Joined here 2 years ago. Best gym in Vero. No bs people are real and everyone is pleasant. The owner Jay is a straight forward dude who always greets and makes his members feel welcome. Definitely the place to go in Vero for fitness.

My husband, son, and I have been going here for about a year now and we love this gym. The owner is always friendly and seems to know everyone by name. Even if I don't go in often, he still knows who I am and asks how my husband and/or son is/are doing and vice versa and asks about whomever isn't with me/us if someone wasn't able to come that time. He's attentive and helpful and genuinely cares about how everyone is liking the gym and their time there.
I'm not the biggest fan of going to the gym but going here makes it easier. I can also go anytime, day or night, and I feel safe. He has cameras everywhere and with the front door being exposed to a large, open, grass lawn and the mall parking lot just across the way, there just aren't many dark corners or hidden areas to worry about after dark. These things, along with my own personal safety precautions, keep the fear of surprise at bay.
There's enough equipment that if I get bored of one routine I have other options to work the same muscle or muscle groups at another set-up. I just feel like, any muscle area I want to focus on, there's equipment for it.
*The only thing I would change is the tv's and audio on the treadmills always seem to have problems. I'd love to just go, plug in my headphones, and watch some mindless television. The sensors seem to be broken on a couple of them as well. Other than that, the rest of the equipment is in great shape. I'd totally give this 5 stars once the treadmills are fixed/replaced.

I have been working out here for the last year or so and it is a nice local gym. The staff keeps the place super clean and all the maintenance up on all of the equipment. Recently they starred to renovate the inside putting in new floors and updating the paint from the brown to a white making it much brighter on the inside. I have truly never had any kind of problem here with anything so I would definitely recommend this as a place to check out in the Vero Beach area.

Only 3 reviews here and so I thought I had to add my two cents. The people complaining, one, that was about the previous owner 8 years ago. The other one, you should read things before you sign, and also complaining about the setup and such when it is plain as day before you sign up is just shallow. My experience with the new owner, Jay, has been great. I see him explain the options to potential new members and he was not misleading with me or anyone else I have seen. They have lots of options for short and longer contracts as well as a month-to-month option with no contract. I have been training for nearly 30 years. Been in every kind of gym from the basement of the YMCA in NYC to the fanciest health clubs in South Florida. This is probably the closest you'll get to a neighborhood gym atmosphere, where attitudes are checked at the door and ladies can also work out with out being harassed. Kind of like the Cheers of gyms and the owner knows everyone by name.

In the several years my wife and I have been members I can count on one hand the times I had to wait for equipment. Jay is a hands on owner and runs a one man operation. The place is kept very clean and has all the equipment you need. You have 24/7 access so it fits anyone's schedule. It has recently been refreshed with new rubber flooring, and a new paint job with some new colors.

There are a few independent personal trainers and one of them, Jim, is always willing to share his vast knowledge. Check it out if you are looking for place to workout in Vero!

I've been a member here for a little under a year. The staff has always been beyond helpful whenever I've got questions about the contract, or with equipment. I've never had to wait for equipment either, which is always a huge plus in any gym.

While it's not filled with every piece of gym equipment on the planet, you get far more of an experience here for what the actual cost of the contract is. It has everything you need to get yourself into top shape. And, you don't have to worry about people getting pissed at you like planet fitness and sounding 'lunk alarms' because you accidentally grunted while picking something up.

Overall, 5/5, sign yourself up, your friends, and your parents.
